Requirement Breakdown

• This bill will go into effect July 1st 2019.
• This bill requires high school students to have this training as a requirement for graduation.
• Students will receive CPR training with an added hands on portion.
• Students enrolled full time in online classes will not be required to complete the hands-on portion of the training.

Student CPR Programs that Meet This Requirement

This program will qualify for Arizona's CPR Training Graduation Requirement:

Supplies Needed		Adult & Infant Manikin, AED Trainer
Initial Evaluator Training Time		4-5 hours
Online Course Time		1 hour training, 20 minute test
Hands-On Time (per group)		20-25 minutes
Certification Level		2-year Community CPR Certification
Cost for Students & Evaluators		FREE
